Romanian Fashion Week - June 9-10, 2010 - Special Event

      Last week was full of surprises, however none of them were as good as the Romanian Fashion Week, held in the city of Iaşi, a yearly event organized by Irina Schrotter, one of the greatest representatives of the Romanian fashion, who was accompanied by Andreea Raicu, one of the Romanian fashion icons. Xenon Magazine was invited and we took some really awesome pictures of the lovely outfits created by the brilliant minds of the new (or already famous) designers. During the first evening (June 9), there was an award of €1000 for the greatest collection of young designers - Lucian Broscăţean was the winner and he got some red flowers too. Among other designer names (brands) present at the event there were: Lucian Pop, Irina Marinescu, ERfashion, Cristina Nichita, Andreea Tincu & Sense, Andreea Muşat, Alina Popescu, Alina Lăţan, Alina Botea, Jolidon, Kinga Varga, Lena Criveanu, Mihaela Glăvan, Răzvan Ciobanu, Tatiana Strîmbovschi, Violeta Gaburici. We also saw a few celebrities, like Simona Gherghe, Andreea Mărin and Daniela Nane.

      The collections were truly impressive as most of them contained outfits that can actually be worn in public, at work, in a restaurant - so not only "fancy-fashion-show" outfits were presented, but also normal clothes 100% Romanian. We would like to thank Irina Schrotter very much for organizing this important event and wish her good luck with her future projects.
